For Sunday, our last day in Cabo, we decided to spend the day relaxing on the beach. Taylor and I got an early start to the day as we gained an extra hour due to Mexico’s day light savings time occurring while we slept! We headed to a coffee shop we had seen the day before and ended up going to the restaurant, Esquina, across the street instead!
After breakfast we walked around the city and hotel a bit! It was a nice quiet start to the morning, as all the mornings were!
For those of you wondering it’s a young adult novel called Kiss of Deception! Most know but, for those of you who don’t know, the school I work at flooded and we lost many books due to water damage. Several books were donated to us from other schools, organizations, individuals, and even authors! This was one of the books donated and was donated by the actual author, Mary Pearson! She even signed the book! So cool! It’s part of a trilogy that I had been wanting to read for awhile! If you like young adult fantasy fiction you will like this!
While I spent my afternoon reading and floating in the water the others in our crew rented jet skis and took a boat to The Arch and Lover’s Beach! So fun!
After a good day spent on the beach we headed up to our room to get ready for dinner. This was the only night we didn’t have reservations. I had been researching restaurants located in the Marina and came across Hacienda Concina and Cantina so we decided to try it out and I’m so glad we did! The restaurant was located at this amazing resort just a few down from ours and it was so beautiful! We had a wonderful dinner right down on the beach! I think we’ve found the resort we will be staying at when we come to Cabo next! Hacienda – we’re coming you!
We left the next morning, ending our trip with a smooth flight and a quick go through customs! Nothing was sweeter than coming home to our perfect puppy dogs! Who clearly missed one another 😍
“My only goal in life right now is to be happy. Genuinely, intensely and consistently happy, regardless of what that looks like to others.”
See y’all in a few weeks when I’m off to Prague!
